Red Bull Advanced Technologies have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast-paced, exciting team, directly contributing to the success of new commercial focussed projects.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring Supply Chain departments have appropriate and practical capabilities to enable them to deliver their objectives.

Working closely with Manufacturing Leaders, Production Control and the Technical Office, you will apply your knowledge of cutting-edge manufacturing technology, processes, systems, tools and equipment to help identify the right projects aligned to their objectives that enhance our manufacturing capability and raise goal expectations.

You will then be responsible for delivering these projects providing end-end project management including: justification, supplier selection, coordination of supporting works (IT/Facilities), commissioning, factory acceptance and sustainable handover to the customer department.

As an integral part of the Manufacturing Engineering role you will drive Continuous Improvement in strategic areas identified, where you will coach, facilitate and apply tools such as lost time analysis, process mapping, structured problem solving and workplace organisation.

To be considered for this Manufacturing Engineer role, you must:

  • Be able to demonstrate experience in a similar Manufacturing/Production/Process Engineering role within a disciplined manufacturing environment
  • Have a thorough understanding and practical experience in evaluating, developing and creating and supporting composite and metallic component manufacturing processes
  • Have previous experience of technical engagement with suppliers of manufacturing plant/ equipment/ software and the ability to build and maintaining solid working relationships at all levels
  • Have previous experience using CAD and ERP/MRP systems
  • Be a successful influencer with the proven ability to pitch and negotiate
  • Possess exceptional data analysis, reporting and presentation skills

You will possess excellent project leadership, communication and time management skills enabling you to run several projects in parallel, work to tight deadlines and deliver on the commitments made. You will be an efficiency and quality focused, self-starter who can think pragmatically to deliver business requirements.
